It has been quite a mundane day.
i went to church in da morning.. Programme was worship den fun nn games. I passed the mustard seed express draft to pastor Razo... Hope to get it back asap so I can send it for publishing... :) The newsletter's way behind schedule! :( After YF there was exco meeting regarding the end of year camp... yupp. I'm one of the vice camp commmandants... :)Big responsibility... I must jia you...
After all that I went to harbourfront wif my parents to haf lunch. Subway! LOL... Honey Oat bread with ham,cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers! OH btw i HATE onions! After all that eating we popped over to labrador park whereI snapped more photos... HAHA. Phototaking is fun.

I feel inspiration for making a blog entry for NHDS blog. Blogging for me is a careful process. I must not offend anyone with words... Offending with pictures is not as powerful as offending with words! lol. The tagboards speak for themselves...
Tomoro is a holidae! :) I miss T102 lerrr! LOL... :(

What is marketing to me? (an anology)
A piece of plain bread
1) Signifies the bland taste of marketing without mass communications
2) The various mediums of mass communications bring ‘taste’ to marketing just like bringing taste to the bread, making it more attractive to the masses. (Various mediums are represented by the wide range of spreads that can spice up the taste of the plain bread.) For example, the radio can bring about greater interest of the masses as it carries attractive advertisements for various companies. In order to satisfy the needs of the masses, new spreads have to be come up with as time passes by. New forms of medium ensure the effectiveness of marketing.
3) Each different type of medium can be catered to a wide arena of target audiences.
4) The way bread is made and presented to consumers can also signify the importance of creativity and innovation needed in marketing. (Breadtalk, four leaves etc)
5) Marketing is ever changing and strategies have to be updated regularly. A piece of toast, when not eaten within a specified amount of time, turns moldy.
6) The baker does surveys to figure out what type of bread consumers prefer.
(Honey Oat, Italian, wholemeal etc.) In the case of marketing, research on what consumers want is carried out to cater to the needs of the masses.
7) The “profits” or fruits of labour are simply represented by the nutrition gained by the consumers of bread and the monetary gains made by the baker. In the case of marketing, monetary gains are made to a large extent.

I'm feeling real excited now... Listening to SYF music in NP... lol... Yupp theres total wireless networking here in Ngee Ann... HAHA... So nice. Later I'll be rushing over to NHHS to take photos of speech day. I'm wif full gear, tripod, mini videocamera, digicamera and SLR camera. Capturing the wonderful memories down digitally annd sharing them passionately online. :) school ends at 4pm. I'm like ARGH! Hope it ends early then i can rush downn earlier to NH... HAHA. :) EXCITING! :) WAHAHAHAHA..... :) My life has not changed much... I'm loving Ngee Ann mass comunications...:)

Today! Went to school at 930am. Bought my books... OMG THEY COST A BOMB!$78 for 2 books... I totally diao the bookshop auntie when she told me the price... LOL... But for the sake of knowledge! LOL... Hmmm. But still $ 78... WTH i can use $60 to buy a 1GB CF card lerr.. lol... oops.
Local Video production class was okay n interesting. The room was real cold though. And omg video making makes use of the same principles and rules as photography! OMG LAR! WOOTS. Looks like it was God's plan... The teaching of video making by Xin Ni during PAE and photog lessons by SYD... Gave me a headstart... lol.. :) Yupp tts abt it for today!

Today! Woke up early and walked to church... I was expecting a big event at SIS... Singapore Indoor Stadium. Hooped on da bus and went for da event... LOL... 125th Synod Anniversary... WOW the whole thing was VERY CHINESE...
Ther sermon was translated sentence by sentence. Enlightening. After the sermon i whipped out my camera n shoot shoot shoot. Photos here.

Todae was okay. I set off for BaoGuan at abt 845am... walked past burger King where Ivy n Audd were having breakfast... lol... She called me twice den i picked up. By tt time I was already on the MRT platform. Yes i do walk real fast. lol.
Baoguan- Had some theory lesson wif Damien and Hui Ching... HAHA. Lenses and flash.
After which we headed out to Orchard to take photos. Some photos have been uploaded on the photo blog. HAA. Yupp. I guess that's all for today. Tomoro's the 125th Synod anniversary at indoor stadium. :)

Today was the first day of school!
I went to LT24 Ngee Ann Poly for registration followed by the meeting up of my classmates... I made new frens! ( i feel tt there may be a mad rush to make frens and start a social circle tt does not allow others to join in... :( )

Yupp. After some talks and lunch, we went to see da telematch... Rather boring. Many of us left.

SCHOOL BEGINS TOMORO. A whole new beginning. A whole new start. A new chapter of my life.

The school of film and media studies.
Mass Communications.

You must be wondering, what would I be studying this term?
Well, I will be studying Graphic communications, Location video production , media in society principles of marketing communications and intro to web design n computer grahics.
SOunds real interesting... :) I do hope graphic communication is related to photography... :P

Well, tomoro is NH's Sports dae! But I cant be present cos I've got school... i really hope I dun get into a class tt does not haf class spirit.... lol... CLASS SPIRIT! :) 409 2005, OG25 Pioneerock and 06A01 Pioneer RAWKS... AND YESH OF COS MOST IMPORTANTLY, NHDS RuLEX...

Starting from 9am, the orientation programme will last till 615pm.
I'm naturally nervous. Cos I ll be meeting the English Elite. Though I'm part of it, ( errr bhb... ) I'm still nervous...

I have Jolene n Rui Ming as frens whom I know there... Hope to see more frens... haha...

I miss NH terribly. Esp the good old daes...

ARGH. Ok. Today marks the end of da holidaes. I've enjoyed myself tremendously of cos. Time to get down to my studies. And I guess its bye bye to mathematics... :P WAHHAAHAAHAHA. And science. ( I miss bio, chem n physics. ) Yar. I was a triple science student. U may call me foolish to choose the mass communications path, but I know that
s where I wanna go, and tts where God is leading me to. Jesus has show me da wae. He has brought me to SPH tong xun yuan. He has brought me to the path of the English Elite. ( BHB ) YAr. He brought me to NHDS before. And BBPCYF. its all thanks to him. I will not be where I am today wo him.

I'm nervous. But God will give me courage. I will move on. But dun worry my loved ones... I will alwayss love u all. ( i hope dis doesnt sound as if i got a dozen gfs... lol...)

Today has been a great day!
In da afternoon I went back to NH... There was a combined practice amongst the sec 2s and 3s...
Yar 3 professional photograpghers came.. I realised they were photograpghers as soon as I saw a lowepro bag carried by one of them... LOL... Den they took out canon 30ds and Nikon as well plus their telephoto, wide angle lenses, and separate flash units plus bounce cards and diffusers... Shoot shoot shoot den i was over there sian diao cos i din bring my SLR of cos... lol... Den my digicamera went out of batt den had to use cheri and yueli's camera... :( But anyway I had lotsa fun shooting... :)
Hmmm school starts dis friday.

9am - I met up with Jessie moi senior cum junior of She ying Dui... We set off for Tiong bahru area to look for vandalism... Yea FOUND more at a children's playground... :)Yar snapped and snapped... Then went off in search for more... Oh wells no more liao so we went burger king to eat... After which we went home... The other groups cant seem to find any more vandalism besides the one at paradiz centre... Yupp. I went home den fell asleep till 430pm... I was real tired lorr...

Hmmm... Yar yesterdae was okay lar... the rain kinda ruined any chance of me taking photos outdoors... Had a small chalet buffet wif Catherine n family... hahas... Morning!
I went to church and finished up the tagboard wif Catherine... Quite fun to splash paint all over the tagboard... :)Yepp.
After finishing the tgagboard and stuff I went to NH for a short while... den went to Turf city to take photos for fun... tong xun called us mah... lol.. Yar I met up wif my Godsis Chean fei and went along... WEnt there n SNAP SNAP SNAP OMG IT WAS SO FUN.... NOBODY STOPPED ME from taking their faces! WAHAHAHA. I love snapping. Yepp. Met Zi Yi they all n went back to Nh after everything. :P

After church I went to visit my uncle whois quite ill rite now... Really hope he recovers... Haiz...

WHAT A DAY!

I woke up at 7am and washed up quickly... I expected a long day! Yar my dad fetched me to Toa Payoh MRt... Met up wif Darwis who was ultra early... :) That was at 8am... After waiting for about an hour, everyone arrived and we proceeded to the HDB Hub above to take photos of people holding hands...

Most people wun like to have their photos taken by photographers candidly. It was a tough job. Some people siam, some people give a disgusting n fierce stare, some walk up n confront us, some just pose nicely...

Most of the people whom i encountered just continued walking naturally. I met one family den the father bu shuang tt i took his wife's pic... SO he walk up to me n said fiercely," WHY U take my wife photo? " Not as if i want to use it for some illegal means lar... so i simply said,"SPH" Den he said " ORH" and walked off happily... I was like, wth?

Anyway, after taking lotsa photos, we went back to baoguan for a short basic photography lesson wif da seniors... Yepp. Got some confusion about aperture... depth of field n stuff...

There was den a talk conducted by 4 photographers of SPH.... Yar quite enriching lar... :)

Everything ended at abot 6pm n i took a train to west mall where i suddenly saw excellent shots for the theme. I whipped out my camera n shoot shoot shoot. Den the STOOPID security guard came along n say cannot shoot inside the centre... N made me delete all photos shot in the centre... HAIX WTH! Waste shutter. Nvm. Walked home merrily n I'm blogging now! :)

WOW I"m high. After what seemed like a big plateau at the number of pull-ups i can do, I finally beat my record of 17 today! AHHHH so happy. I did 20 todae! HAHAHAHA. Must train summore. :P
Yea. This morning was quite uneventful... I was at home slacking away, checking out stuff on the camera... Afternoon was drum prac... Kevin overslept so din get to see him... awww. Anyway, after drum prac i happily took a detour to a nearby fitness corner n did pull-ups! LoL. Pushed myself to the max and did 20! LOL... After doing 20 i rest awhile den do another 12... lol...Okay enuf of that.
